The annual subscription is currently only £5.00 and you will be issued with an annual programme.
All our administration is carried out by volunteers and our committee includes a Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer, who are elected annually.
Regular Programme of Events
Meetings are generally held at 7.45pm on the second Thursday of every month in The Town Hall at The Guildhall, Fore Street, Chard when a local specialist is usually invited to speak.
Between May and August, on-site visits are arranged to local places of interest....see our events page for more information.
Additional Member benefits
Associate membership of the Somerset Archaeological and Natural History Society which enables members to have access to their Member's Reference Library at Taunton, and also to take part in the SANHS and Associated Societies' events.
Members also have access to publications of the Council for British Archaeology (SW) and the Somerset Industrial Archaeological Society.
All members enjoy a 20% discount on purchases of CHG books and publications
All members enjoy 1 FREE visit each year to Chard Museum and Heritage Centre - please show your CHG membership card on entry.
