Chard Museum & Heritage Centre

CHG works closely with the Chard Museum, with some members serving on both committees

The Museum & Heritage Centre exhibitions have been expanded and improved steadily over the years and contain several collections of national importance including those of 

John Stringfellow (1799-1883) who was an early pioneer of powered flight 

James Gillingham (1839-1924) who was an bimportant maker of artificial limbs
